What is the difference between your sessions and professional counselling?
Knotwell's sessions are entirely educational. We focus on general communication skills, listening techniques, and cooperative planning — not on exploring individual histories or providing personal guidance. Nothing we offer constitutes professional advice of any kind.
Do I need to come with other family members?
It depends on the programme. The Family Communication Workshop and Co-Coordination Programme welcome individuals or pairs. The Mediation-Support Information Session can be attended individually — it is an information session, not a joint meeting.
Are sessions conducted in English?
Yes, all current sessions at Knotwell are conducted in English. If you have questions about accessibility or language, please reach out before registering and we'll share what's currently available.
How long do the programmes run?
The Family Communication Workshop and Mediation-Support Session are single-day sessions. The Co-Coordination Skills Programme is a multi-week format — typically spread across four to six weekly meetings. Specific schedules are shared when you enquire.
